Description

A batch of LeafNut controllers entered a watchdog reset loop after an OTA rollback: the rolled-back image and the config schema mismatched, the controller failed schema validation on boot, watchdog fired, repeat. Nodes cycled every ~40s, never joining the mesh.

Can't reach the registry after reboot — DNS?

They never get far enough to try, Pike. They fail schema validation before the network stack is even up.

Pushed a matching schema ahead of the image, staged the rollback properly. Loop cleared across the batch. Closing.
