Description
Sporadic LDAP authentication failures against DEVCON-DC01, mostly after a controller reboot; binds succeeded and failed seemingly at random. Escalated as the directory being broken.

Purged the stale SRV records, TTLs flushed, binds clean. It was DNS. It is ALWAYS DNS. Framing this ticket. Resolved.

Before anyone says it's the directory: it's DNS. The _ldap._tcp SRV records point at a decommissioned DC as well as the live one. Half the binds hit a ghost.
