[ FINDING US FROM THE MAIN GATE ]
1. Approach along the range road to the Main Gate and Building 2 (the gatehouse
and site security). Barry runs it. Have photo ID and your vetting reference ready.
2. When the red flag is flying there is live activity on the ranges. Observe the
foghorn signals, keep to the marked road, and do NOT leave the vehicle route for any
reason.
3. From Building 2 you are badged and, on a first visit, escorted to Building 1 —
the main block — past where the old wartime huts used to stand. Building 1 is the
square one built round a courtyard.
4. The Partner occupies the top floor of Building 1; reception is on the ground floor.
Do not go looking for Building 8. You will not be shown Building 8.
[ SHARING THE BUILDING — MANNERS ]
You are one of three tenants in Building 1. TracComm have the ground floor;
Percival Marine have the entire second floor. They are not us and their work is not
our business. Badge only your own floor, do not prop the stair doors, and do not ask what the
others are testing — they will extend you the same courtesy. We share a reception, a
canteen, a car park, and nothing else.
