#62 DEFERRED fault

Oldest engagement record won't import — pre-digital folio format has no template mapping

Reported by: People & Places Owned by: unassigned

Component: Registry Services / Records Version:

Desk: Estate & Systems Legacy ref: RS-13980

Description

A migration sweep of the registry surfaced a founding-era engagement record that predates the electronic register entirely: it exists only as a transcribed folio in the old bound-register convention (retained as registry-services/PRE-REG-0001.TXT, cached under /docs/). Its reference structure has no mapping to the current record template — no company-number field, the parties entered by hand under headings the schema doesn't have, and the old folio-and-entry numbering instead of dates. The importer rejects it outright. It is, by a distance, the oldest thing in the registry: the Partner's original line of business, from before any digital record existed.

The importer just refuses it. It isn't a bad row, it's a different world — a folio out of the bound registers, older than the company-number system itself. Left it as a scanned page in the doc store rather than mangle it into the V2 template.

Had a look out of curiosity. It's beautiful — copperplate. This is apparently where the whole outfit started, long before any of the rest of it. There is genuinely no field on the form for it. Leaving well alone.

Still unmapped. Kept as-is in /docs/. Do NOT force it into the template.
