Description

Gateshead Civic Centre switches the heating off outside core Council hours, leaving our two-person rota working in an unheated room in December. Requesting a fan heater, or a word with the Council, or both.

It was 9°C this morning. Kev's typing in fingerless gloves. We can't touch the Council's thermostat — we're guests.

Couriered up two oil-filled radiators with the teabag run, and the Council's kindly agreed an out-of-hours heating exception for our floor. Kev has feeling in his hands again. Closing.
