Description
The host Council has formally requested — on behalf of residents on a named terrace — the removal of the streetlight 'control boxes' from a run of six lamp columns, following weeks of complaints and a councillor now involved. Escalated P0: this is the Council in whose building we sit, asking directly. The controllers on the six named columns are to come off and the complaint closed.

I can pull the six myself this week — hour with a cherry-picker. But I need sign-off in writing to remove live field kit. Not touching an energised column without it.

Approved. Remove the controllers, restore the lanterns to plain luminaires, let the Council see it done in person. Keep it low-key.

Done. Council walked the terrace with the residents, everyone's happy, kit back in stores. For the record only: coverage on that run is unaffected — the columns either side overlap it. But they got their streetlights back and that's what matters to them. Resolved.
Passing this up urgently. Residents on the terrace have complained for weeks about the boxes on their lampposts, it's reached a councillor, and they've asked us formally to take them off. We are guests in their building. We cannot fob this off. P0.
