The summer match against Percival Marine is on the 26th (weather permitting, which it won't). They are disputing last year's result and want to see the scorebook. Does anyone have it? It's a green hardback with a coffee ring on the front and "DO NOT REMOVE" on the back.
If we can't find it, they're claiming the match, and last year's quiz, and I think the car park.

Got it, thanks Maureen. Signed for. Bad news: the last four overs are in pencil and someone has rubbed them out. Good news: Percival Marine won't know that.

For the record, I'm not lying to Percival Marine about a cricket match. They know the length of Southend Pier in nautical miles. They'll know about the pencil.
