placement cohort, who started yesterday at Marconi Court: Arthur, John,
Clive, Ian, John (yes, two Johns!), Arnold and Jimmy.
They'll be shadowing the node-controller and mesh teams, and helping with
the SharePoint migration clean-up. Their passes are still being sorted, so
if you see a young man looking lost at the Core 1 door, please let him in and
point him at reception. And the good coffee machine.

by M. Ross » Tue Jul 09, 2013 10:15 am Welcome all. Accounts are set up. The Johns are JOHN.C and JOHN.H, which is
an improvement on 2007, when we had two John Ks and neither of them knew
which one they were.
Those of you on the migration clean-up will have read access to the old
boards. Apologies in advance for the quality of the discussion.

bring a jumper, the lab is kept cold for the kit and not for you.

Welcome. If anyone is reading the archive and gets as far as Mars vs Bounty,
