 Basilisk-class units (BSK-) carry the medusa payload and are
 EXCLUDED from routine actuation. DO NOT COMMAND.

 Units returning self-test 0x1A are non-nominal; cause is not
 understood (ticket DEVCON-1299). The reflect-stage vendor is
 unreachable.

 If a basilisk unit acknowledges a command it did not receive,
 report immediately and DO NOT APPROACH THE COLUMN.

 Lineage: basilisk and medusa are the early iterations of what
 became the SICORE II node, from before the estate was funded.
