If in doubt: call the Duty Manager first. Do not freelance external responses.

This rota covers out-of-hours operational queries, access problems, press / council contact, urgent supplier questions, and any incident where Legal may need to preserve privilege. Routine IT faults still go through the service desk. Routine facilities faults still go to Facilities. Anything involving a journalist, councillor, police officer, coroner, FOI request, subject complaint, or the words "weapon", "kill", "vaccine" or "5G" goes to the Duty Manager and the Legal Advisor on call.

Do not speculate in writing. If you need to speculate, call first.

Use "approved external description", not "cover story".

Use "document hygiene", not "clean-up".

Do not put WP-01 and WP-07 in the same email chain.

Do not forward screenshots of SENTRIS, the node map, or the approvals queue.

If a council asks whether a column is "5G", answer from the public asset script only.
